DOORMAN – Part Time
Rex Restaurant Associates which incorporates The Wolseley and St Alban is looking to recruit experienced Doormen. These high profile restaurants are owned by Chris Corbin and Jeremy King, previous owner-operators of The Ivy, Le Caprice, and J.Sheekey and current owners of The Wolseley – www.thewolseley.com and St.Alban – www.stalban.net

As doorman you will be the first and last point of contact for all guests visiting the restaurant. Maintaining a high profile on the front door and always remembering to be polite and helpful is of the utmost importance. Most of your role will incorporate close customer interface, therefore immaculate personal presentation is essential.

Successful candidates will be naturally hospitable with an ability to acknowledge and greet customers with enthusiasm and warmth whilst always maintaining a high level of courtesy and professionalism. It will be important that you are able to recognise and build relationships with our customer base.

You will need to maintain an exceptionally high customer service focus and successfully communicate with both customers and colleagues at all times.

Successful candidates will have previous experience working in a similar customer focussed role within a five star hotel or fine dining restaurant. The position is part time and offers a rare opportunity to work for market leaders within the hospitality industry.

Part of your role will be to give directions either to customers or passers by and therefore knowledge of local geography would be an advantage i.e. theatres, cinemas, hotels, museums, galleries places of interest etc.

Now is time to open a page and here, in UK, to keep close and to create links to a different society with different rules and culture but, with something in common... that's security industry.
